Here are some suggestions for things to bring for a successful trip to western Washington.
All food will be provided from check-in on Friday through lunch on Sunday.
Note that Guemes Island has only one very small store, so definitely plan to get the necessities off-island before you arrive.
RealID or Passport if you're flying - new TSA ID rules went into effect in May.
Clothing:
Layers - a light jacket and breezy pants are always a good idea.
Umbrella - it is usually sunny in September but you never know.
A sweater - it gets cold at night!
Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
Comfy shoes for walking
Nicer comfy shoes for dancing (our dance floor is the lawn)
Swim suit for the sauna & wood-fired hot tub (burn ban permitting). (and if you want to cold plunge in the Sound)
Fishing License - If you want to help supply crabs for our lunch on Sunday (crab boil!) purchase a Washington Combination Fishing license and Dungeness crab endorsement here.
