Guemes Island is about 10 minutes from Anacortes, WA via the small (but frequent) ferry.
This quiet, charming place is quite rural and while there is only one store/restaurant on it, it has scenic public beaches, parks, and hikes accessible by car or bicycle.

We have reserved the whole resort for the wedding weekend!
Accommodations on the property include beachside cabins, forested cabins, and yurts, and one larger house. If you opt to stay with us at the resort, we will do our best to place you in an optimal location for your needs.

Accommodations (besides the resort) on Guemes include a number of Airbnbs.
If you'd like to stay around Anacortes, you'll have even more options, including hotels.

From central Seattle, it takes between 2 and 3 hours to get there (depending on traffic) via I-5.
From SeaTac Airport (SEA), it's basically the same amount of time.
From Vancouver International Airport (YVR) it's about 2.5 hours + border crossing.

We will help coordinate carpools to minimize parking at the resort and avoid clogging the ferry.
